The management technique developed in this paper gives us the possibility of controlling the battery state of charge (SOC) and discharge according to the desired electrical quantities (voltage and current) at a steady voltage as well as the energy generated by the PV system with reduced response time.
Optimizing the energy storage charging and discharging strategy is conducive to improving the economy of the integrated operation of photovoltaic-storage charging. The existing model-driven stochastic optimization methods cannot fully consider the complex operating characteristics of the energy storage system and the uncertainty of photovoltaic .
There are three main tasks of coordinated control strategy: (1) Determine the MPPT of the PVA. (2) Smoothing the impact of PVA power fluctuations on system stability in a short time. (3) Control the SOC of the energy storage device to maintain sufficient capacity for the voltage regulation in the power grid.
The experimental results show that the proposed strategy can improve the coordination control effect of the PV(Photovoltaic) storage plant, meet the demand of the PV storage plant’s charging and discharging power.
